Windows Vista was released in late 2006 (and not available to the general public until 2007). OS X 10.4 Tiger was released in 2005, and 10.5 Leopard will probably be available later in 2007. Apple releases a new OS version every 1 or 2 years, while Microsoft took 5 years to make Vista, which is just now catching up to the features that OS X has had for years. Who is being lazy? No one who is familiar with OS X will think Vista is better. It's just not. I've been using it at work for a few months, and it's just not even close. In fact, it is a pain in the ass because of compatibility issues with software that hasn't yet been updated. Only people who know nothing about computers or have never bothered to look seriously into OS X would think that Vista is the better choice, even without Leopard. Windows XP was released in 2001.
